Jonathan Partridge

Jonathan Partridge has over three decades of experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as a Project Subject Matter Expert in the Engineering Transformation Programme at Virgin Atlantic since January 2003. In this role, Jonathan represents Engineering and Flight Deck/Cabin Crew Communities, contributing to the implementation of an Aircraft Electronic Logbook and collaborating with service providers on software changes. Previous roles at Virgin Atlantic include Technical Operations Engineer and Senior Design and Development Engineer, with responsibilities in cabin avionics, maintenance support, and team supervision. Prior to Virgin Atlantic, Jonathan gained experience as an Avionics Technician at Lees Avionics Ltd and Southern Air Ltd, as well as contracting for various commercial airlines and military services. Jonathan's career began as an Electrical/Avionic Fitter in the Royal Naval Aircraft Yard, where foundational skills were developed through an intensive apprenticeship and further training in aeronautical engineering.
