Mark Thompson

Mark Thompson brings over three decades of experience in the aviation and manufacturing industries. Currently serving as the Manager of Operational Safety at Virgin Atlantic since September 2004, previous roles at the company include Safety Investigator, Apron Training Manager, and Ramp Training Officer. Prior to Virgin Atlantic, Mark held various positions at Aviance from 1992 to 2004, including Training Instructor and Ramp Operations Controller. Mark's career began at Hightons Manufacturing as a Machinist and included a position as Workshop Supervisor at Elite Garages from 1988 to 1991.
