Luis Ferreira

Luis Ferreira is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the aviation and transportation sectors. Currently serving as Head of Business Technology and Head of Corporate and Commercial Platforms at Virgin Australia since August 2022, Luis previously held the position of Program Director - Regulatory Transformation at Transport for NSW, where responsibilities included partnering with senior leaders to develop strategic business and program strategies. Prior to that, a significant tenure at Qantas spanned over two decades, encompassing various leadership roles such as Head of Technology for Airline Operations, Commercial, and Corporate, where Luis drove IT strategic planning and led key transformation and risk programs. Luis holds multiple qualifications, including a Bachelor of Economics from Flinders University, a Diploma of Project Management from the Australian Institute of Management, and CPA qualifications from CPA Australia.
