Melanie Tjerks has extensive experience in payroll management and transformation, currently serving as Manager of Payroll Transformation and Delivery at Virgin Australia since August 2021, after previously holding the position of Manager Payroll Services. Prior to Virgin Australia, Melanie worked at Icon Group AU as Group Payroll Manager from August 2018 to August 2021, and held various roles at Woolworths Group, the Australian Government Department of Human Services, CRS Australia, Queensland Government, and the Department of Education, Employment, and Workplace Relations. Melanie's career in payroll management began at the Australian Taxation Office, where the role of Payroll Manager was held from 2000 to 2006. Educational qualifications include studies at Lake Tuggeranong College and TAFE NSW.
