Arnau Alabort

Arnau Alabort is a Senior Data Scientist at Virgin Media O2 since September 2019, with a focus on migrating machine learning models to Google Cloud Platform and providing mentorship to junior Data Scientists. Previously, Arnau worked as a Data Scientist, developing propensity and recommender models, and as a Data Science Intern at Telefonica, where the Master's Thesis on predictive models for time series was developed. Earlier experience includes a Junior Engineer role at Knox Media Hub, managing cloud resources and automating processes, as well as mentoring students in programming at Telefonica's Talentum Schools program. Arnau holds multiple master's degrees in Data Science from Aalto University, EIT Digital Alumni, and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, complemented by an engineering degree in Telecommunications Engineering from UPC - ETSETB TelecomBCN.
