Edward Wright

Edward Wright is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software and system architecture across various sectors, including telecommunications and defense. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering and Lead Software Engineer at Virgin Media O2, Edward oversees multiple engineering teams tasked with delivering innovative products, particularly in network planning and optimization. Previously, Edward held roles at Smiths Detection, where responsibilities included full stack development for BioThreat detection software and leading compliance adherence to stringent industry standards. Additional experience includes senior software engineering positions at Thales, where Edward contributed to project management and agile methodologies, and Technocamps as a teacher. Edward holds a Master's degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Bangor University.
