Kumaran Nathan

Kumaran Nathan has extensive experience in both executive leadership and technical roles within the telecommunications and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Chief of Staff to the CEO and Director of Product / Value Creation & Operations at Virgin Media O2 since 2021, Kumaran plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s transformation into a digital-first organization while managing strategic priorities during a significant merger. Prior to this, Kumaran was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, recognized as a top performer in TMT and Private Equity, where responsibilities included conducting commercial due diligence. Kumaran's academic contributions include teaching roles at the University of Cambridge and the University of Newcastle, alongside practical engineering experience at Ausgrid. Kumaran holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from the University of Newcastle.
