Russell Coventry

Russell Coventry is a seasoned professional in information security and management, currently serving as the Director and Chief Information Security Officer at Virgin Media O2 since December 2021, where responsibilities include developing a comprehensive security strategy and overseeing security maturity frameworks. Prior experience includes a tenure at O2 (Telefónica UK) from 2012 to 2021 in various leadership roles such as Chief Information Security Officer, Head of Certifications, and Information Security Governance Manager. Russell previously worked at CEMEX Research Group AG as SAP Security Manager for EMEA, and held logistical and operational roles at Tesco and Marks and Spencer. Russell holds a BSc in Transport Management & Logistics from Loughborough University.
