Russel Bacha has several years of experience in the IT field. Russel worked as the Head of Technology, CRM & Loyalty Program at Virgin Megastore Saudi Arabia from 2012 onwards. In this role, they led the Information Technology division and was responsible for budgeting, strategy, and digital transformation projects such as SAP ERP & Hybris Commerce Implementation, Microsoft Office 365 Migration, and infrastructure virtualization and migration to IBM cloud. Prior to that, they worked as a Network Administrator at Saudi Oger Ltd. from 2010 to 2012 and as an IT Coordinator at Virgin Megastore Saudi Arabia from 2008 to 2010, where they managed the IT department and implemented and administered the company's LAN/WAN using Cisco equipment.

Russel Bacha holds a Master's degree in Strategic Management - International Business from Université Paris-Saclay. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Notre Dame University - Louaize (NDU) between 2003 and 2007. Russel completed their high school education at Balamand High School. In addition to their academic achievements, Russel Bacha has obtained certifications such as the Digital Loyalty Associate Certification from Digital Loyalty Academy in July 2020 and the Exponea Academy Fundamentals Course from Exponea in March 2021.
