Senior Director, Client Success at Virgin Pulse

Carol McCarthy has a diverse and extensive work experience in sales and client success roles. Carol started their career in 1994 as an Account Representative at Accountants On Call and Executive Search, where they achieved exceptional results in selling financial recruitment solutions. In 1995, they joined Monster.com as a Sales Representative and was responsible for introducing the concept of internet recruiting to HR professionals. Carol quickly progressed within Monster.com, becoming a Sales Manager and eventually the Vice President/Sales Operations Officer, where they pioneered the sales operations business unit and managed various essential functions for sales force productivity. In 2004, they joined Monster Worldwide as the Vice President & General Manager, Enterprise, leading strategic programs and developing innovative products. In 2009, Carol moved to Simply Hired, where they held the roles of Director of Sales and Vice President, Sales, overseeing sales teams and implementing marketing strategies. Lastly, they joined Virgin Pulse in 2013 as the Regional Sales Director, before being promoted to the role of Senior Director, Client Success in November 2015.

Carol McCarthy obtained a B.S. degree in Family & Consumer Studies from the University of New Hampshire. Carol also holds a certification in "Mastering Authentic Influence for Highly Successful Sales" from LinkedIn, obtained in 2021.
