Geeske Biesta

Geeske Biesta has a strong background in finance and project management. Geeske held the role of VP Finance at Virgin Pulse starting in May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at insightsoftware as VP, PMO strategic projects and M&A integration from November 2021 to May 2022. From 2019 to 2022, they were with Magnitude Software, Inc as VP, PMO Strategic Projects and M&A Integrations. Geeske also served as VP of Finance at Thin Film Electronics from 2018 to 2019. Geeske had a stint as Sr. Director of Finance / Acting CFO at Mirantis from 2017 to 2018 and as Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, Head of FP&A from 2016 to 2017. Before that, Geeske was Regional CFO Netherlands & Belgium at Nilfisk-Advance from 2007 to 2015. Geeske also worked at Ecostream as an FP&A Business Partner EMEA for a few months in 2007. Geeske's earlier experience includes roles at Swire Shipping, UMC Utrecht, and Ballast Nedam, where they gained valuable expertise in financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and project management.

Geeske Biesta obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Executive Master of Finance and Control / MBA / RC from the University of Amsterdam in 2003. Geeske also holds a Master's Degree in Business Economics from Radboud University, which they earned from 1994 to 1999. In terms of additional certifications, Geeske Biesta is a Certified Controller / Register Controller, a prestigious Dutch equivalent to CPA and CMA, which they obtained in 2003 from the Vereniging van Register Controllers. Geeske Biesta has also completed leadership development training at Hult Ashridge in 2015 and strategy implementation training at IMD in 2014.
