Kent Grant is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in various roles within the education sector and community service. Currently serving as a School Board Member for Franklin City Public Schools since July 2025, Kent contributes to policy development, financial oversight, and community representation. As President and Program Director of A Village United, LLC since July 2017, Kent focuses on enhancing the quality of life for at-risk populations through community outreach and support. In addition, Kent has served as a Student Support Specialist at Virginia Beach City Public Schools since March 2003, addressing the needs of at-risk students and collaborating with various stakeholders to facilitate support services. Previous experience includes working as an Intensive Behavioral Modification Specialist at Foundation School of Alexandria and service in the U.S. Army from 1987 to 1994. Kent holds a Master’s degree in Education focused on Community Health Services and Counseling, along with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Public Administration.
