Stephen Cariello

Stephen Cariello has a diverse range of work experience spanning several years. Stephen is currently working as the Senior League Director at The Virginia Beach Field House, where they have been since 2020. In this role, they were recruited as part of a leadership team to revitalize stalled programs, stabilize programs through profit and loss management, implement program enhancements through market research, and grow the menu of offered products. Stephen oversees all-league management including staff oversight, the building of divisions/teams, and marketing and promotions of leagues and seasons.

Prior to their current role, Stephen worked as the Director of Grassroots Development at Beach FC from 2018 to 2020. Here, they supported the organization's growth and expansion, overseeing the largest grassroots program (recreation league) and fostering relationships within the community through outreach events and strategic partnerships.

Before that, Stephen served as a Performance Consultant (Asset Manager) at EXOS / Bon Secours Hampton Roads Health System from 2016 to 2017. Stephen cultivated strong relationships across EXOS partner facility staff, created community partnerships, and promoted multiple service lines and sponsorship activations.

In 2015, Stephen worked as a Tournament Director at Aloha Tournaments and World Series of Youth Lacrosse, LLC. Stephen planned, executed, and managed local, regional, and national events, while fostering relationships with Convention & Visitors Bureaus, Sports Commissions, Private and Public Venues.

Stephen's earlier experience includes working as the National Sales and Program Director at Madlax, Inc. from 2011 to 2014. Here, they developed logistics for company-sponsored events, provided analysis on trends, and managed the entire sales lifecycle process.
