Jeff Mills

Jeff Mills serves as a Sr. Business Data Architect / Data Strategist at the Virginia Department of Transportation since April 2024, focusing on defining and leading Enterprise Master Data Management initiatives. Previously, from 1998 to 2023, Jeff held various roles at Capital One, including Technical Product Manager and Data Product Manager, where responsibilities encompassed leading enterprise data initiatives, developing data strategies, and managing cross-functional teams to enhance data storage solutions. Jeff also played key roles as an Enterprise Data Architect Manager and Data Warehouse Tech Lead, overseeing large-scale data warehouse migrations and hardware upgrades. Earlier in Jeff's career at AT&T from 1993 to 1998, responsibilities included the strategy, design, and maintenance of multiple database systems. Jeff holds an AAS in Computer Science from Somerset Community College and further education from Penn State University.
