Megan Peterson

Megan Peterson is a seasoned legal professional with a robust background in legal operations and public safety. Currently serving as a Legal Operations Analyst in the Administrative Services Division at the Virginia Department of Transportation since January 2023, Megan has previously held significant roles including Chief Deputy Director at the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services and Staff Director of the Homeland Security and Resilience Group at the Secretary of Public Safety and Homeland Security. Other notable experiences include positions as a Policy & Planning Analyst at the Virginia Department of Emergency Management, Contract Attorney at PartnerJD, and various internships at the U.S. Department of State, New York City Mayor's Office of International Affairs, and other legal firms.
