Ramesh Neupane

Ramesh Neupane, PhD, PE, PMP, currently serves as the Geotechnical Engineering Program Manager at the Virginia Department of Transportation, where responsibilities include contract administration, review of geotechnical reports, and coordination with various agencies for research and problem-solving. Previous experience encompasses roles as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer and Geotechnical Engineer at HDR and Terracon, respectively, focusing on rock slope remediation, foundation analysis, and geohazard assessments. Ramesh's early career included positions at Gerhart Cole Inc. as a geotechnical intern and the Institute of Engineering Pulchowk Campus, where contributions involved laboratory administration, teaching, and soil investigation project supervision. Ramesh holds a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Utah and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Institute of Engineering Pulchowk Campus in Nepal.
