Engineering Team

The Engineering Team at the Virginia Department of Transportation is responsible for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of transportation infrastructure across the state. This multidisciplinary team comprises district engineers, project managers, traffic engineers, and specialists in various engineering fields who collaborate to ensure the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of Virginia's roadways, bridges, and other transportation systems.
