Vikram Rajashekara

Vikram Rajashekara has a strong background in the pharmacy industry, with extensive experience in various roles. Vikram is currently serving as the Vice President of Pharmacy at Virginia Health Services, where they manage pharmacy operations and services for multiple facilities. In this position, they oversee a team of consulting pharmacists, collaborates with a clinical research team, and focuses on achieving the best patient outcomes.

Prior to their current role, Vikram worked as a Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager at RITE AID for over 17 years. During their tenure, they achieved significant script growth and led the store to become the top-ranking in script volume in the entire east coast division. Vikram also excelled in completing claims for Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and Immunization, reaching personal immunization goals and becoming a top immunizer in their district. As a result of their success, the store underwent several remodelings to incorporate a wellness footprint model.

Before joining RITE AID, Vikram served as a Research Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital, where they gained valuable experience in the field of research.

Vikram Rajashekara holds a Master's degree in Pharmacology from St. John's University, which was completed in 2003. Prior to that, they obtained an Honor in Genetics from St. Joseph's University in 2001. Vikram also has a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from St. John Pharmacy College, earned between 1995 and 1999, as well as a Diploma of Education in Pharmacy from Soniya Education Trust's College of Pharmacy, completed in 1995. In terms of certifications, Vikram is a licensed pharmacist by the Virginia Board of Pharmacy, received in 2006. Vikram also holds a CPR & AED certification from the American Heart Association and a Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certificate from the APhA Foundation, the specific dates of which are not provided.
