Sarah Miller

Sarah Miller is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as an Assistant Public Defender at the Virginia Indigent Defense Commission since September 2021. Previous experience includes roles as a Legal Intern at Brooklyn Defender Services and Law Clerk positions at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia and Orleans Public Defenders. Additionally, Sarah worked as a Paralegal Casehandler at the Legal Aid Society and gained foundational experience through internships at the ACLU and Picture Motion. Sarah holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Rights and Anthropology from Barnard College, with a study period at New York University Madrid.
