Jeff Fisher

Jeff Fisher started their career as a Structural Engineer at McPherson and Associates in 1996 and worked there until 1998. Jeff then joined Clark Nexsen in 1998 as an Associate and held that role until 2015. In 2015, they became the Chief Engineer at The Port of Virginia, where they currently work.

Jeff Fisher obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering from Virginia Tech, which they completed from 1991 to 1995. Jeff then pursued further education and completed a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering at the University of Virginia from 1998 to 2002. In terms of additional certifications, Jeff obtained the Emerging Leaders Institute certification from ACEC Virginia in June 2012. Jeff also obtained the Model Law Structural Engineer certification from NCEES in August 2011. Furthermore, Jeff achieved the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in November 2019. It is unclear whether they obtained the Bridge Safety Inspection Certification. Jeff holds a Professional Engineer certification in multiple states, including VA, NC, MD, GA, NJ, NM, LA, OH, MI, and AL. Additionally, they are a certified Structural Engineer in IL and HI.
