Jeff Underwood

Jeff Underwood began their work experience as an Audit Senior at Price Waterhouse in 1991 and worked there until 1994. Jeff then moved on to become a Business Unit Controller at Policy Management Systems Corporation from 1994 to 1997. Following this, they served as a Senior Accounting Manager at Fleet Mortgage Group from 1997 to 2000. Underwood then worked as a Controller at Resource Satellite from 2000 to 2002. Jeff continued their career at Maersk Line, Ltd. as the Director of Business Planning & Analysis from 2002 to 2010. Underwood then became the VP of Finance at CDC Software in 2010, and later took on the role of Director - Special Projects at Maersk Line Limited from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, Underwood started their own consulting firm called Jeff Underwood, Jr. CPA, where they served as the Principal providing services such as due diligence, start-ups, valuations, and general consulting. Additionally, they worked at The Port of Virginia as the Director of Finance from 2014 to 2015, and then as the Vice President of Finance from 2015.

Jeff Underwood graduated from the College of Charleston in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Accounting. Jeff has additional certifications as a Certified Public Accountant from the South Carolina Board of Accountancy and the Virginia Board of Accountancy. Jeff is also certified as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
