Mark Tanner has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Mark began their career as a Cabin Counselor at Shrine Mont Camps, where they took care of youth aged 8-15 during summer sessions. Mark then interned as a Sports Marketing Intern with the Outer Banks Daredevils. Mark later served as the Vice President of Human Resources for Pi Sigma Epsilon National Marketing Fraternity.
In 2016, Mark joined Metro Systems, Inc. as a Technical Recruiter, specializing in placing IT professionals for various organizations. Following this, they worked at CoStar Group as an Account Executive, selling to real estate professionals and as a Marketing Research Advisor.
Mark then moved on to American Express, working as a Field Marketing Agent for a year. Mark further gained experience in talent acquisition at Sutherland, starting as an Associate Manager and then becoming a Senior Team Manager. Mark is currently employed at The Port of Virginia as a Recruiter.
Mark Tanner earned their Bachelor's Degree in Communication: Public Relations from Radford University. Mark attended the university from 2011 to 2016.
