Tim Wentz has a diverse range of work experience in communications and promotions. Tim started their career as an Athletics Communications Student Intern at Virginia Tech in 2013. Tim then worked as an Athletics Public Relations Assistant at Southern Methodist University from 2014 to 2015. Following that, they joined Old Dominion University as an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications from 2015 to 2019. From 2019 to 2023, Tim worked at Norfolk Festevents, Ltd. as a Communications & Promotions Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Communications Specialist at The Port of Virginia, starting in March 2023.
Tim Wentz earned their Bachelor's Degree in English - Professional Writing from Virginia Tech, studying from 2011 to 2014.
