Ingrid Gerbino

Ingrid Gerbino, MD FACP is the Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. She has been with the company since September 1995 and is responsible for providing vision, strategy, and oversight for the Virginia Mason Institute (VMI) and the Kaizen Promotion Office (KPO). Ingrid also serves as a General Internal Medicine Physician and the Chief of the Department of Primary Care. She has a strong background in healthcare transformation using lean methodology and has played a key role in achieving results in healthcare organizations worldwide. Graduating from the University of Washington in 1995 and the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in 1992, Ingrid holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Doctor of Medicine degree.
