Josette Sydnor

Josette Sydnor currently serves as the Special Events Manager at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond, a position held since April 2022, where responsibilities include planning and coordinating major fundraising events such as Collectors’ Night auction and Craft + Design art show. Previously, Josette held roles at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts as an Early Childhood Education Assistant from April 2021 to April 2022, where support was provided to early childhood educators and program statistics were managed. Earlier experience includes serving as a Life Columnist for The Cavalier Daily and working as a Research Assistant at the University of Virginia. Josette also completed internships at The Fralin Museum of Art and Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, focusing on education and art engagement. Josette earned a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Art History and English from the University of Virginia in 2021.
