Dawn Freeman has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Dawn began their career in 2001 as a Development Associate and Special Events Manager for the Richmond Symphony Orchestra. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as an Executive Assistant/Office Manager for the Virginia Biotechnology Association. In 2009, they joined Virginia REALTORS® as Facilities & Operations Director, responsible for maintaining facilities, overseeing contractors, and managing logistics for meetings and events. Dawn is currently serving as the Operations and Hospitality Director, where they support the COO and CEO in maintaining a safe work environment and implementing processes to support the organization's membership. Throughout their career, Dawn has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on customer service.

Dawn completed their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration-General from Liberty University from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from J Sargeant Reynolds Community College, where they attended from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, Dawn Freeman pursued their interest in business early on, as they completed their high school education at Henrico High School from 1985 to 1989, where they specialized in business studies. Dawn also briefly attended Virginia Commonwealth University from 1989 to 1991, focusing on Business Administration and Management, though they did not obtain a specific degree during this time.
