Rob Logan has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Rob has been a member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for Virginia REALTORS since September 2022, where they are committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity. Prior to that, Rob served on the Board of Directors for the Roanoke Valley Association of REALTORS, working to support and represent real estate professionals. Rob also served on the Board of Directors for Equality Virginia, advocating for LGBTQ rights and equality. Rob's involvement extends beyond the real estate industry, as they have been a member of the Strategic Planning Committee for the Virginia Association of Volunteer Rescue Squads, contributed their leadership skills as a Board Member/Treasurer for Friends of Mountain View, and served as a REALTOR/Associate for The Real Estate Group. Additionally, Rob has held significant positions in the healthcare sector, serving as the Executive Director of the Western Virginia EMS Council and participating in the development and coordination of a regional healthcare coalition. Rob also served as a member of the City of Roanoke's Board of Zoning Appeals and represented the City of Roanoke as a Commission Member for the Roanoke Valley - Alleghany Regional Commission. Rob's commitment to community involvement is further demonstrated by their past participation on the Virginia Board of Health Professions and their role as Chairman of the City's Board of Zoning Appeals. Overall, Rob Logan has a breadth of experience across various fields, contributing their skills and expertise to promote diversity, serve their community, and support professional organizations.

Rob Logan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies from Roanoke College, where they studied from 1972 to 1976. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Lynchburg from 1979 to 1981. Lastly, they completed a PhD in Management from California Coast University between 1999 and 2003.
