Brian Sayre has extensive experience in academia, serving as the Chair of the Department of Biology and as a Professor at Virginia State University since April 1999. Prior to this role, Brian Sayre was a Postdoctoral Fellow at West Virginia University from October 1995 to April 1999, working with Dr. Keith Inskeep. Brian Sayre obtained a Ph.D. in Reproductive Physiology and an M.S. in Reproductive Physiology from Virginia Tech, where studies were completed from 1991 to 1995 and 1989 to 1991, respectively. An undergraduate degree in Animal Science was earned at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1985 to 1989.
