Danielle Andrews is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in teaching, research, mentoring, and outreach. Currently serving as an Associate Professor and Interim Department Chair for Agriculture at Virginia State University since August 2022, Danielle has previously held significant roles including Program Lead for Environmental Studies, Undergraduate Assistant Dean, and Academic Integrity Officer at the University of Pittsburgh from January 2017 to August 2022. Prior experience also includes a position as a Research Associate at Penn State University from March 2011 to December 2015, and engagements as a Postdoctoral Fellow focusing on similar responsibilities. Danielle holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Soil Sciences from Penn State University, a Master of Science (MSc) in Plant and Soil Sciences from the University of Kentucky, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biology, Chemistry, and Environmental Science from South Carolina State University.
