James Cottingham

James Cottingham has extensive experience in geolocation and language skills, particularly in Arabic, and has served in various roles within the defense sector. Currently a Collection and Geolocation Subject Matter Expert and Instructor at CACI International Inc since May 2022, Cottingham previously held positions as an ISR Collection SME/Instructor at Virginia Systems & Technology, Inc. and as a Language Enabled Dual Cert Geolocation Operator at Mission Essential. Cottingham's military background includes service as an Arabic Linguist and Geolocation Operator with both the US Navy and US Navy Reserve from 2012 to 2023. James Cottingham holds an Associate's degree in Arabic Language and Literature from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center, completed between 2011 and 2012.
