Angela Costello (She / Her)

Angela Costello has extensive work experience in communications, marketing, and creative roles. Angela is currently serving as the Vice President of Communications and Marketing at VIPC | Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation since November 2021. Angela is also the President and Chief Creative Officer of AngelaCostelloGroup, which they started in 1989. Angela has held various roles within ACG, including President, Chief Creative Officer, and Consultant in Communication Strategy & Production. Angela has a strong background in creative marketing, high-resolution imagery, video, VR, and music production. Angela has worked with national clients and has experience in marketing strategy, live events, and production. In addition to her roles at AngelaCostelloGroup, Angela was the Vice President of Marketing, Creative Direction & Client Relations at AdAir & VP-360 from February 2012 to December 2021. Angela was responsible for producing and directing content, designing and implementing brand development and marketing strategies, and innovating virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality technologies. Angela's clients included MatchBox 20, Clemson University, Insomniac, EDC, MGM, and Academy of Country Music. Angela has also worked as a News Anchor and package producer at UNI: United News International from August 2011 to August 2013. Before that, Angela served as the VP of Marketing & Business Development at Clean Air Action Corporation from April 2009 to August 2012 with frequent travel to Africa for projects with USAID and National Geographic. Angela also held the position of Director of Creative Development/Children's Programming at Family Channel /CBN International for nearly two decades.

Angela Costello attended Harvard Business School (International Business -which included foreign study in Japan) Angela also pursued additional studies at Harvard Kennedy School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Regent University (with a focus on Communications & Advertising), and Virginia Wesleyan University (Psychology/Human Services). Additionally, Angela is an Ordained Chaplain with chaplains international and has a pilot's license from the Federal Aviation Administration. Angela has won more than 75 national and international awards for communications, television, film music composition, event design and production in the last 30 years. She is a member of ASIFA Hollywood and the Television Academy of Arts and Sciences.
