Gareth Jones is an experienced geophysicist and team leader currently working at CGG since August 2017, where roles include Team Leader, Project Leader, and Senior Geophysicist. Prior experience at CGG from July 2013 to June 2017 involved processing seismic data sets, specifically in areas such as de-multiple and noise attenuation. Gareth completed a PhD in Geophysics at the University of Strathclyde, focusing on the geophysical monitoring of desiccation fissuring in flood embankments, where additional responsibilities included serving as a teaching assistant. Further contributions include a geophysical consultancy project in April 2012, and an exchange participant role with AIESEC in Culiacán, where Gareth taught English and engaged in cultural exchange initiatives.
