K. Kalyan

Mr. K. Sri Kalyan is the Non-Executive Director. After completing Mechanical Engineering he joined Tecumseh Products India Private Limited as a Management Trainee and worked in Quality Assurance , Production and Projects. In the course of working in QA department , he improved the dehydration process of the compressor and reduced the assembly rejections. He was instrumental in ramping up the production of the compressor manufacturing plant from 1000/day to 2500 /day. Kalyan was identified as a key member and moved into the projects team which launched India’s first rotary air conditioner compressor in record eighteen months. In the seven year stint in manufacturing , he was a part of Quality circles , implemented Kaizans, handled cost reduction and quality improvement projects , conducted internal QMS and EMS audits , implemented TPM/TQM , managed bottlenecks and optimized production lines. He is also a certified ISO 9001 internal auditor , ISO 14001 lead auditor and an in-house trainer for Lean Manufacturing and six sigma.

He has an inherent flair towards statistics and used various statistical tools like SPC/ SQC , hypothesis testing , regression analysis, demand forecasting and linear programming and used them extensively in problem solving.

He completed PGDM from SP Jain Centre of Management (SCM), a leading B- School in Asia - Pacific region.
