Satyajeet Prasad

Satyajeet Prasad, CEO of Virinchi Limited and Head of Strategy at Virinchi Hospitals, has a long and successful history in the field of healthcare. Satyajeet began their career as a Project Engineer with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited in 1998. In 2001, they joined GE Corporate as part of their Information Management Leadership Program. Satyajeet spent two years in this role before moving to GE Healthcare in 2003, where they served as Platform Delivery Leader for four years.

In 2007, Prasad founded Asclepius Consulting, a healthcare consulting firm specializing in hospital digitization. Satyajeet grew the company to profitability and oversaw its acquisition by Virinchi in 2013. Prasad is credited with pioneering hospital digitization in emerging markets with Charak, an end-to-end web-based HIS / EMR (hospital software product). Charak was implemented at over 60 hospitals in India, Africa, and Canada.

In their current role as CEO of Virinchi Limited and Head of Strategy at Virinchi Hospitals, Prasad is responsible for the overall direction and strategy of the organization. Satyajeet is passionate about improving healthcare access and quality for all people, regardless of location or income level. Under their leadership, Virinchi has continued to innovate and lead the way in hospital digitization.

Satyajeet Prasad has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in Lucknow and a BTech from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur.
