Paula MacDonald

Paula MacDonald is Vice President of Chemistry Manufacturing and Controls for the organization. She has over 20 years of experience in cGMP testing, manufacturing operations, organizational management, and strategic planning. Throughout her career, Paula has focused on facilitating the development, manufacture, and marketing of biologic products. She co-founded and served as the President & CEO of Benten BioServices, a contract services organization that provided cGMP testing and manufacturing services to government agencies, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. Prior to that, she held various senior leadership positions in the CRO industry including Executive Director of Charles River Laboratories Biopharmaceutical Services Division and Vice President at Tektagen, Inc. Earlier in her career she held several positions in bioengineering and the life sciences. Paula holds a B.S. in Biology from Fitchburg State University and a M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
