Ron Garan

Ron Garan is the current Director at Virridy. Prior to this, they served as Co-President/SVP Mission Operations at World View from January 2016 to September 2019. Ron also served as Chief Pilot and SVP of Mission Operations during their tenure at World View. Ron left full-time employment in September 2019 to pursue other endeavors but is still engaged with the company as a strategic advisor, consulting on areas of flight operations and business development.

From August 2015 to July 2019, Ron was an Adjunct Professor as part of Drexel University's College of Engineering, Peace Engineering Program. Ron taught a class on international collaboration called "Introduction to the Orbital Perspective."

Ron was also the CEO of Impact CoLab from October 2013 to February 2016. Impact CoLab is a digital marketing company that propels purpose driven brands, organizations and efforts primarily through carefully crafted social media campaigns. They specialize in creating global grassroots movements around ideas and efforts to improve life on Earth.

Prior to their work at Impact CoLab, Ron served as Program Manager at USAID from March 2013 to October 2013.

Ron Garan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business-Economics from SUNY Oneonta, a Master of Aerospace Engineering from the University of Florida, and a Master of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
