Denise Garcia, MA, NBC-HWC, is a seasoned health and wellness professional with extensive experience in coaching and organizational development. Currently serving as a Senior Health Coach at Virta Health since October 2020, Denise specializes in weight loss and diabetes reversal through evidence-based lifestyle interventions, while also mentoring new coaches and leading initiatives to improve patient retention and engagement. Denise founded Wonderpause Wellness, LLC, as the Lead Health Coach, and previously demonstrated exceptional effectiveness as a Bilingual Health Coach at Clinica Family Health. With a Master’s degree in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University and diverse roles spanning health coaching, doula services, and education, Denise blends behavioral change psychology and intercultural expertise to support individuals and communities in achieving their health goals.
