Maura Sullivan

Maura Sullivan is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in public health, biosecurity, and government affairs. Currently serving as General Manager of Public Health at Virta Health, Maura previously held significant roles at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc. as Vice President, Head of Biosecurity Solutions and Vice President of Commercial Operations, where contributions focused on enhancing safety in schools through COVID-19 testing initiatives. Maura's political experience includes candidacy for Congress in New Hampshire's 1st Congressional District and serving as Assistant Secretary for Public and Intergovernmental Affairs at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Additional leadership roles span senior positions in the U.S. Department of Defense, the American Battle Monuments Commission, and PepsiCo, complemented by military service as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps. Maura holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, and a BA in Economics and History from Northwestern University.
