Nasir Bhanpuri

Nasir Bhanpuri is an experienced professional in data science and applied artificial intelligence, currently serving as Applied AI Manager at Virta Health since October 2016. At Virta, Bhanpuri focuses on reversing type 2 diabetes through innovative solutions in nutritional biochemistry and machine learning. In addition to this role, Bhanpuri has been a self-employed Data Science Mentor and Job Coach since October 2014, conducting seminars for STEM students and providing one-on-one coaching to enhance their skills and career trajectories. Previous positions include roles as a Clinical Analytics data scientist at NorthShore University HealthSystem, a data scientist at the University of Chicago, and various academic research roles. Bhanpuri holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a BSE from Duke University.
