AUSTIN, TX – Will Oliver is the VP of Business Development Western Region for VIRTEX, an industry-leading Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider with a workforce of over 300 industry experts, 11 SMT lines, 165,000 sq. ft. of operational floor space in ten locations; Texas, New Mexico, Wisconsin, Virginia, New Jersey, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Mexico.
As VP of Business Development Western Region, Mr. Oliver’s experience in strategic team development will be a key component to developing and managing a North American team of rep firms in strategic locations within the United States and Canada. He will be responsible for the individual firm strategic and customer development. This is a similar role that he played for another large EMS provider.
Mr. Oliver has over 23 years of experience in electronic component and Electronic Manufacturing Services Sales and Business Development. He has a successful record of generating growth by developing strategic plans and goals for his teams with industry leaders in EMS such as FLEX (NASDAQ FLEX) and KeyTronicEMS (NASDAQ Key Tronic Corporation). He is an expert in multi-layer strategies for customer development that requires team experts and disciplines in the supply chain, engineering, operational support, and logistics. He has developed and managed teams that support the small start up to the multi-billion- dollar Fortune 100 companies.
Mr. Oliver is not only passionate about his professional life but is also very active out of the office with volunteer work and his family. He sits on Sigma Phi Epsilon’s national Board of Governors and is the Alumni Board President for the Texas Mu Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon at Texas A&M University. He was recently honored at SigEp’s Carlson Leadership Conference in Oklahoma City on February 19th, 2016, as the SigEp Volunteer of the Year. He also volunteers his time for his alma mater Texas A&M University. He is the Founder and past President of the Greek Former Student Network for The Association of Former Students, Champions Council Captain for the 12th Man Foundation, Director on the Texas A&M Leadership PAC, and an Eppright Distinguished Donor for the 12th Man Foundation. Mr. Oliver also sits on the Board of Directors for Safe 2 Safe, a distracted driving prevention company.
