Colm MacCurtain

Colm MacCurtain has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Colm began their career as an Account Manager at Citi (formerly Bisys) Hedge Fund Services in 2003, where they handled hedge fund accounting responsibilities. Colm then worked as a Fund Accountant and Manager at Macquarie Funds Group in 2007 and 2008, respectively. From 2009 to 2011, Colm served as the Financial Controller at Adrian Lee & Partners. Colm then joined Abbey Capital Ltd. as the Head of Finance from 2011 to 2014. Subsequently, Colm worked at Virtu Financial Ireland Ltd. as the Head of Finance from 2014 to 2018. In 2019, they moved to Optal Financial, where they held the role of Finance Director for Optal Europe. Later in the same year, Colm joined Virtu Financial as the Head of Finance.

Colm MacCurtain earned a B.Sc. degree in Accounting from UCC in 1999-2002. Colm later pursued ACCA and obtained the FCCA designation from 2003 to 2006. In 2009-2011, they furthered their education at CFA, where they earned a CFA degree.
