Ian Garmaise

Ian Garmaise is a seasoned technology consultant and operations manager with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as a Venture Fellow in Cohort 6 at Venture Cooperative since March 2024, Ian focuses on making venture capital more accessible. As COO of Virtual Film School, Inc. since October 2021, Ian has been instrumental in organizational operations. With a consulting background at Phorix Solutions Group since 2003, Ian has provided strategic advice to technology small businesses. Previous roles include mentoring startups at Esade, managing operations at VoxVeri, and coordinating teacher recruitment at Nowtutor.me. Educational qualifications include a BA in Political Science and Computer Science from Concordia University and an Oracle Developer Certificate from Ryerson University.
