Jason Kan

As COO of Virtual Internships, 'adaptability', 'resourcefulness, and 'results' are Jason's default settings. Harnessing know-how from a range of roles in investment banking, operations, business development, marketing, HR, and recruitment, Jason has honed the skill of being a 'specialist generalist'. As the relentless executor, Jason is responsible for all day-to-day operational activity across the organization in addition to ensuring VI's culture, systems, processes, and product can fundamentally meet the needs of a rapidly scaling organization. With 5+ years of experience in international education across Asia and Europe, Jason has witnessed first-hand the transformative benefits of work experience for young people and is therefore driven by VI's mission to bridge the gap between education and the workplace. Jason holds a degree in Politics with International Studies from Warwick University, UK, and is determined to be the 'superhero of his own movie' so outside of work can often be found exercising or reading/watching anything related to start-ups, psychology, or personal development.
