Tony Baldasaro has a diverse work experience in the education field. Tony worked at Virtual Learning Academy Charter School from 2010 to present, starting as the Chief Human Resource Officer and currently serving as the Chief Operations Officer. In their role as CHRO, Tony oversaw over 150 instructors and was responsible for managing teaching loads, evaluation and assessment, the peer coaching program, and benefits administration.
From 2010 to 2012, Tony also served as a Community Leader at Powerful Learning Practice, where they facilitated long-term professional development programs for educators, focusing on 21st-century learning environments and the use of technology in education.
Prior to that, Tony worked at SAU 16 from 2006 to 2010. Tony held the positions of Assistant Superintendent from 2008 to 2010 and Curriculum Administrator from 2006 to 2008.
Tony Baldasaro has a comprehensive education history. Tony received their Bachelors degree in Biology and Education from Colby College, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Following that, they pursued their Masters degree in Teacher Leadership at the University of New Hampshire from 1999 to 2004. Tony furthered their education by earning a C.A.G.S degree in Administration & Supervision from the University of New Hampshire between 2005 and 2008. In addition to their formal education, Tony Baldasaro has also obtained several certifications, including "Human Resources: Creating an Employee Handbook" from LinkedIn in September 2019, "Getting Started as a LinkedIn Learning Admin" from LinkedIn in December 2018, and "Inbound Certified" from HubSpot Academy in March 2018.
