Alex Kochergin

Alex Kochergin is an experienced Test Engineering Manager with a robust career spanning over two decades in the electronics testing field. Currently leading the qualification testing engineering group at Virtual Power Systems since January 2020, Alex focuses on preventing design flaws from reaching production by establishing testing criteria and ensuring reliable performance reporting. Previously, Alex held managerial roles at CUI Inc. and D&V Electronics Ltd., effectively overseeing testing departments, improving quality standards, and participating in root cause analyses. Earlier experience includes a position as Hardware Test Engineering Manager at Tectrol, where innovative test strategies were created and testing processes enhanced. Alex holds a Master's Degree in Industrial Electronic Engineering from the National Technical University of Ukraine and has completed various leadership and project management training courses.
