Dr. Dorothea Gowin

Dr. Dorothea Gowin has an extensive background in human resources and organizational development. Dr. Dorothea is currently the Vice President People & Culture at Materna Virtual Solution GmbH, where they are responsible for various aspects of HR, including recruitment, organizational development, change management, and payroll. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Human Resources at Materna Virtual Solution GmbH, overseeing the People & Culture Department and being a member of the upper Management Board. Dr. Gowin also has experience as the Head of Human Resources at mSE Solutions GmbH and as a Senior Expert in Change Management & Recruiting at Caritasverband der Erzdiözese München und Freising e.V. Dr. Dorothea has worked as a Director of Human Resources at Personalwerk Holding GmbH and has been a freelance consultant and lecturer in the fields of human resources and change management. Dr. Dorothea has also held HR positions at Messe Frankfurt GmbH, Wella Company, Continental Teves AG & Co. oHG, and Bilfinger Konzern Tochter GKW Ingenieure. Dr. Gowin's expertise lies in various HR domains, including recruitment, talent management, and organizational development.

Dr. Dorothea Gowin completed their education with a Dr. phil. degree from Freie Universität Berlin in 1999. Prior to that, they obtained a Diplom (FH) from Hochschule Esslingen - University of Applied Sciences between 1989 and 1993. Dr. Dorothea also received training in Systemic Organizational Consulting from Institut für Systemische Forschung Heidelberg, under the guidance of Fritz Simon.
