Amanda Mason has been working in the field of education since 2008. Amanda started their career as a High School Educator and CTE High School Classroom Teacher at the Smith County Board of Education. During this time, they created engaging and rigorous classroom content for high school business classes according to and in line with state standards for Computer Applications, Business Communications and Business Management classes in a traditional classroom setting as well as virtual learning. Amanda also successfully implemented the launch of College and Career Readiness class at the high school level by extensively utilizing VirtualJobShadow.com and creating learning opportunities for an array of students with varying career and educational interests. Additionally, they were appointed as CTE chair for Gordonsville High School, facilitated communication between CTE district director and fellow teachers, organized meetings and disseminated information. In 2018, Amanda began self-publishing as an author. In 2022, they joined VirtualJobShadow.com (now Pathful) as a Curriculum Content Creator and Strivven Media as a CTE Curriculum Developer.

Amanda Mason obtained a Masters Degree in Business Teacher Education from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) between 2008 and 2009. Amanda also obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA and a Bachelors in Business Administration, both in Accounting, from Tennessee Technological University between 1995 and 1999. Additionally, they have a Certified Teacher certification from the State of Tennessee.
