Sigmund M. has a diverse range of work experience across multiple industries. Sigmund currently holds the position of Director, Enterprise Risk Management at Virtus Investment Partners since November 2019. Prior to that, they founded SPM Wealth, LLC in April 2019, where they focused on creating engaging online content and hands-on workshops to bridge the gap between aspiring professionals and industry experts.

From 2017 to 2019, Sigmund worked at DR Bank as Assistant Vice President & Director, Enterprise Risk, where they played a key role in establishing an enterprise risk program and managing project plans for risk mitigation.

Before that, they were a Data and Reporting Risk Analyst at Laurel Road from 2015 to 2017, where they built data visualizations and collaborated with the Capital Markets team for portfolio analytics.

Sigmund also served as a Global Macro Sales Analyst at Hedgeye Risk Management, LLC from 2014 to 2015, conducting market risk research for Registered Investment Advisors.

Sigmund started their career through the BNY Mellon Global Internship Program in 2013, where they conducted investment research and collaborated with portfolio managers.

Lastly, they had an internship role as a Wealth Brokerage Retirement Intern at Wells Fargo Advisors in 2012.

Sigmund M. attended Gordon College from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance, General. Prior to attending college, Sigmund graduated from Trumbull High School.
