Max Hand started their career in 2010 as a Tax Intern at Powell Ebert & Smolik, P.C. In 2011, they worked as a Finance Research Assistant at Texas McCombs School of Business. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Credit Analyst at Provident Funding Associates L.P. In 2015, they had a brief internship as an MBA Intern in Acquisitions & Development at Oaxaca Interests, LLC. Max then interned as an MBA Intern in Global Corporate Real Estate at CBRE from 2016 to 2017. From 2017 to 2019, they served as an Associate in US Real Estate at Goldman Sachs. Currently, they are the Vice President of Acquisitions at Virtus Real Estate Capital, a position they have held since March 2019.
Max Hand attended the Texas McCombs School of Business from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics. Max then went on to study at the SMU Cox School of Business from 2015 to 2017, focusing on an MBA with an emphasis on Finance and Real Estate.
