Dennis Colón

Dennis Colón has worked in the business and consulting industry since 2008. In 2008, they began working as a Sage ACCPAC-Certified Consultant for NextLevel Information Solutions. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as the Managing Director for Boreal Technologies, Inc (CAD) Full Spectrum Labs (USA), where they were responsible for strategic management of operations, including human capital, budgets and contracted research projects, as well as engaging and negotiating licensing opportunities for the company’s intellectual property with international manufacturers. From 2015 to 2017, they were the Business Development for NSE at Naturally Splendid Enterprises Ltd. (TSX.V:NSP), where they focused on business development, global commercialization & distribution of bioactive ingredients, working with Health Canada, CFIA, and the International Canadian Trade commission, identifying industry partnerships, joint venture and licensing opportunities, and improving manufacturing processes and supply chain. In 2019, they began working as a Business Development Consultant for VIRUN. In 2017, they also founded Smart Squad Advisory Group, Ltd., where they provide business consulting services on a broad range of activities by evaluating challenges, developing solutions, supporting implementation and improving performance, and business development for various health and wellness brands.

Dennis Colón obtained an Associate's degree in Business from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania between 1990 and 1992. In 2001, they obtained an Associate's degree in Business with a minor in corporate psychology from HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, which they completed in 2005. In 2016, they obtained a Project Management Certificate from British Columbia Institute of Technology, and also holds a Sage 300 certification.
